Helen Keller International (HKI) supports vitamin A supplementation (VAS) for children in sub‑Saharan Africa. WHO recommends VAS for children aged 6–59 months two to three times per year; evidence shows it reduces child mortality, with GiveWell estimating ~4–12% effects. Delivery is very low‑cost (about US$1 per capsule) and highly cost‑effective (roughly US$1,000–US$8,500 per life saved); HKI is a GiveWell‑recommended Top Charity.

New Incentives operates a Conditional Cash Transfer program in Northern Nigeria, providing parents with financial incentives to vaccinate their children. Since 2017, the program has significantly increased vaccination rates and immunized over 1.39 million infants.

The Against Malaria Foundation funds the distribution of mosquito nets to prevent malaria in at-risk areas. These nets protect people from mosquito bites and help reduce malaria cases and deaths. AMF works with local partners and monitors program effectiveness to ensure donations are used efficiently.

The Effective Climate Protection Fund supports organizations that promote scientifically evaluated projects to reduce CO₂ emissions. The goal is to make the greatest possible contribution to combating climate change.

The donation fund “Defend Democracy” by Effektiv Spenden supports organizations that strengthen democracies – in Germany and increasingly abroad. The fund was launched in 2024 in Germany and has been working regularly with its research partner Power for Democracies since August 2025. It supports initiatives with high relevance, significant neglect, and clear potential for impact, such as HateAid, Verfassungsblog, Flow Fund, and Alliance4Europe.

The 'Reduce Animal Suffering' fund supports organizations that aim to reduce the suffering of farm animals through education and the promotion of plant-based alternatives. The goal is to achieve long-term improvements in animal welfare.

The 'Preserve the Future' fund supports projects that focus on environmental protection and the prevention of global risks like climate change. The goal is to create long-term solutions to secure the livelihoods of future generations.
