The Wealth for the World Fund does not make its own funding decisions. Instead, we rely on the work of GiveWell, an independent organization that has been conducting well-founded research into particularly effective organizations since 2007. GiveWell continuously identifies a selection of organizations with an exceptionally high impact per euro donated.
At the end of the year, our donors can determine which of these organizations should receive the portion of the payout attributable to their donation.
Instead of selecting a specific organization, donors can also choose GiveWell's All Grants Fund. This allows donations to be distributed flexibly according to the current evidence and needs.

This strategy allows the fund to intervene where additional capital makes the biggest difference. This model has proven to be highly effective, particularly in the global fight against poverty and disease.

Helen Keller International (HKI) supports vitamin A supplementation (VAS) for children in sub‑Saharan Africa. WHO recommends VAS for children aged 6–59 months two to three times per year; evidence shows it reduces child mortality, with GiveWell estimating ~4–12% effects. Delivery is very low‑cost (about US$1 per capsule) and highly cost‑effective (roughly US$1,000–US$8,500 per life saved); HKI is a GiveWell‑recommended Top Charity.
